Keystone Library - Gas Lines

We connected many different underground lines to our library in this project.  It was fun.

3-2-6 Beam Design

In this project we had to analyze different beams in a section.  It was a lot of calculations.

Keystone Library Finished Product

 In this project we had to completely fix up an old building to make it into a library.  I liked the project.

In this project we took a bunch of equations and made beam analyses using them.

In this project we analyzed beams to see how much force beams were pushing up with.

Keystone Library - Commercial Floor

In this project we learned about the many different types of floors put in buildings.  What I liked about this project was making the floor.  What I didn't like was taking notes on the floors.

Structural Efficency

In this project we took a set of cards and tried to build the most efficient building possible.  Our group placed first by a long shot in the competition.  Our building had an efficiency rating of 513.91.  We did not change our structure after the preliminary testing, but we doubled the efficiency in the final results.

Keystone Library - Commercial Roof

In this project we had to research different types of green roofs, and then put one on our Library roof.  What I liked about the project was designing the roof.  What I didn't like was researching the roofs.

Keystone Library - Commercial Wall

In this project we learned about all the different types of walls used in buildings, and then we placed one into our library.  What I liked about this project was putting in our own type of wall.  What I didn't like was trying to find thicknesses for the worksheet.

Affordable Home - Floor Plans

In this project we had to make a couple of drawings of examples of the type of house we were going to make for our client.  What I liked about this project is designing a house by myself.  What I didn't like about the project was trying to dimension all of the rooms perfectly.

Affordable Home - Plumbing

In this project we had to make the plumbing plan for our house.  What I liked about this project was getting to draw in the lines.  What I didn't like was trying to find room in my house for a water heater.

Affordable Home - Site Plan

In this project we had to take our home we made on Revit and make a site plan for it.  The site plan shows our water and sewage systems, our planting, and our places for driveways and sidewalks.  What I liked most about the project was designing the planting, and the driveway.  My least favorite part was connecting the sewage and the water lines.

Affordable House-Support Drawings

In this part of the project we added day lighting, and electrical fixtures to our house.  My favorite part of the project was being able to choose where all of the outlets and switches go.  My least favorite part of the project was taking pictures of the things we did.  What I learned by doing this project was, that there are many ways to make your house accomplish day-lighting.
